The documents available for purchasers due diligence and inspection include the following:-
- Owerri High Court Judgement in Suit No. HOW/320/2006 vesting the rights of occupancy of the entire land of Umuorii Rainbow Estate on OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED. This principal Judgment was implemented by Imo State Government and filed as No. 9/9/1161 of the Land Registry, Owerri. It is the root of the owner/developer’s title as per all public records of Imo State Government.
- Owerri High Court judgement in Suit No. HOW/464/2010 affirming the principal or earlier judgment in Suit No. HOW/320/2006, also implemented by Imo State Government and filed as No. 10/10/1161 of the Land Registry, Owerri.
- Deed of Irrevocable Power of Attorney made by Owerri North Government transferring its residual administering interest in the land to OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED. It is registered as No. 31/31/948 of the Lands Registry at Owerri.
- Judgment of the Court of Appeal Owerri in APPEAL CASE NO. CA/OW/515/2018 given on 1st February 2023 dismissing the appeal filed by Chief Amobi Uwaleke and group against the earlier High Court judgment in Suit No. HOW/597/2011 given on 20th June 2017.
- Government Survey Plan Number OWR(M)499 affirming the land title of OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED made and signed by the Surveyor General of Imo State.
- Owerri High Court Judgment in Suit No. HOW/583/2018 granting possession of the land against its illegal occupiers, and to OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED.
- Owerri High Court Writ of Possession of the land in Suit No. HOW/583/2018 executed by Owerri Court bailiffs on 18th December 2019. Said Writ transferred possession of the land from its illegal occupiers to OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED.
- Owerri High Court enforcement orders of forfeiture in Suit No. HOW/583/2018 dated 16th September 2019 and 27th June 2023. These High Court orders compelled all illegal occupiers to forfeit all structures/houses they built on the land in contempt of subsisting court judgments to the real owner of the land i. e. OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED.
