Deed of Irrevocable Power of Attorney donated by OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL transferring all of its legal interests in Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri to Owerri North Housing Estates Limited (now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED) dated 30th March 2007 and registered as No. 31 at Page 31 in Volume 948 of the Lands Registry at Owerri.
  2. The Principal Judgment of Hon. Justice P.C. Onumajulu, Chief Judge, in Suit No. HOW/320/2006:SIMEON ENWERE & ORS (SUING FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHER ORIGINAL LANDOWNERS OF PLOT P.10 EGBU/URATTA LAYOUT OWERRI) V. OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL & ORS given on 10th July 2007. This judgment backed the earlier transfer of title from Owerri North Local Government Counxil and vested the rights of occupancy of the subject land i.e. Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri on Owerri North Housing Estates Limited (now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED). Said judgment was implemented by Imo State Government and filed as No. 9 at Page 9 in Volume 1161 of the Lands Registry at Owerri.
  3. Judgment/Ruling of Hon. Justice B.A. Njemanze, Chief Judge, in Suit No. HOW/464/2010: MIKE OGUOMA & ORS (SUING FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHER CLAIMANTS OF THE LAND IN DISPUTE) V. OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL & ORS dated 12th June 2012. The Ruling rejected claims being made by the original landowners that they were entitled to reversion of title of title to the subject land i.e. Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri. The court particularly held that the original landowners were caught by the res judicata of the earlier judgment in Suit No. HOW/320/2006 which vested the rights of occupancy of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri on Owerri North Housing Estates Limited (now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED). The decision was implemented by Imo State Government and filed as No. 10 at Page 10 in Volume 1161 of the Lands Registry at Owerri.
  4. Judgment of Hon. Justice N.B. Ukoha in Suit No. HOW/597/2011:MIKE OGUOMA & ORS (SUING FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHER CLAIMANTS OF THE LAND IN DISPUTE) V. OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL & ORS dated 20th June 2017. This Judgment relied on the earlier Judgment/Ruling given by Hon. Justice B.A. Njemanze in Suit No. HOW/464/2010 on 12th June 2012 and barred the original landowners from re-litigating on the subject matter in any court of law.
  5. Judgment Order of the Court of Appeal in APPEAL CASE NO. CA/OW/515/2018::MIKE OGUOMA & ORS (SUING FOR THEMSELVES AND OTHER CLAIMANTS OF THE LAND IN DISPUTE) V. OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL & ORS dated 1st February 2023 which dismissed the appeal filed by the original landowners against the High Court judgment of Hon. Justice N.B. Ukoha in Suit No. HOW/597/2011 aforementioned. The Court of Appeal also de-listed the appeal from its records, thereby effectively foreclosing the appellants (original landowners) from appealing any further to the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
  6. Judgment of Hon. Justice B.C. Iheka in Suit No. HOW/583/2018 granting possession of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri to Owerri North Housing Estates Limited (now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED) for the benefit of its allottees.
  7. Enforcement Orders of forfeiture made by Hon. Justice T.E. Chukwuemeka-Chikeka in Suit Nos. HOW/583/2018:OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED & ORS V. OCCUPIERS OF PLOT P.10 EGBU/URATTA LAYOUT OWERRI and HOW/85M/2023:OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED V. UNKNOWN OCCUPIERS OF PLOT P.10 EGBU/URATTA LAYOUT OWERRI by which all illegal developers or occupiers forfeited all structures they built on the subject land without title from the title holder i.e. Owerri North Housing Estates Limited (now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED).
  8. Judgment Order of Hon. Justice E.F. Njemanze in Suit No. HOW/726/2019:OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED V. OWERRI NORTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT COUNCIL dated 30th July 2019 and clarifying that the legal person entitled to the statutory rights of occupancy of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri is Owerri North Housing Estates Limited ((now called UMUORII RAINBOW ESTATES LIMITED), and not Owerri North Local Government Council.
  9. Imo State Government Survey Plan No. OWR(M)499 made by the Surveyor General of Imo State further establishing the land title of OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED dated 10th May 2007.
