PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 2026/5
NOTICE is hereby given to members of the general public, in general, and both the Nigeria Police and other security and anti-graft agencies of the agencies of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in particular as follows:-
- That in contempt of several judgments of Owerri High Court and the Court of Appeal settling the land dispute between the original landowners of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri and Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited, over ownership of the land in favour of Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited (formerly called “Owerri North Housing Estates Limited”) a company incorporated by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) on 16th February 2025, and as . RC No. 8272582 i.e. BASE PROJECTS AND REAL ESTATE CONSULTING LIMITED is now parading itself about as the new owners of the land, citing a purported judgment interpretation said to have been made by Hon. Justice B.C. Iheka in Suit No. HOW/583/2018:OWERRI NORTH HOUSING ESTATES LIMITED V. OCCUPIERS OF PLOT P.10 EGBU/URATTA LAYOUT OWERRI.
- That the afore-named jurist never made any such interpretation in Suit No. HOW/583/2018 or any other suit.
- That land title held by Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited is duly registered as No. 31/31/948 of the Lands Registry at Owerri and till date it is not facing any legal or nonlegal challenge in any court of law.
- That the said BASE PROJECTS & REAL ESTATE CONSULTING LIMITED has no connection whatsoever with Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited or any of its affiliate companies and firms.
- That the said BASE PROJECTS & REAL ESTATE CONSULTING LIMITED has neither contract nor any other relationship with the subject land the title holder of which is Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited till date.
- Any person dealing with the afore-named company in connection with ownership of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri is doing so at his or her own risk.
To be fore-warned is to be fore-armed.

- That Umuorii Rainbow Estates Limited who are the title holders of Plot P.10 Egbu/Uratta Layout Owerri (Umuorii Rainbow Estate) holders of the rights of occupancy has not appointed any person or company to negotiate on its behalf in regard to anything concerning or affecting Umuorii Rainbow Estate.
- That whenever any such appointment are made, it would first be announced on this website.
- That any person recognizing and dealing with any person as our agents without our duly published mandate does so at his or her own risk.
